Hola! Another beautiful morning here in the Big Bend Country in Texas along the Mexican Border and the Rio Grande! A nice cool start to a day that should reach only around 90 degrees! I appreciate you stopping by my estudio and if you have a moment perhaps you'd like to check out my most recent painting - a retablo dedicated to Saint Francis (the patron of animals and peace). I painted him on a thin piece of tin and fashioned a wire hanger of copper. Very folk artsy!

Hola! Welcome to my estudio! It's a wonderful cool morning here in Big Bend Country - about 70 degrees right now - I am having my first cup of coffee sitting on my backporch and listening to the birds before I start my day. I will be listing two new paintings on eBay today or tomorrow and just wanted to let you know about them. One is a wonderful St. Francis (Saint Francis is the Patron of Peace and Animals) painted on thin tin with a copper hanger and the other is a colourful Mexican kitty cat painted on a fabulous Mexico chair with a detailed floral design, painted on a medium size canvas 20x16. "Cactus Garden" - Original Painting - Mexican Folk Art - RoMy

Hola!

This is my most recent painting - a colourful desert cactus garden! Right now in the Big Bend Country we are having a gorgeous spring and all the cacti are in bloom - so naturally I had to try and capture some of their glory on canvas!

This original painting (20x16) shows the prickly pear cactus in bloom and the flowers are gorgeous shades of yellow, pink, gold, and a hint of red ~ the background is turquoise green. There is an aura of serenity to this piece! And it is sure to add a lovely touch of the desert in bloom to any southwest lover's casa! It would be beautiful displayed in any home or office workplace!
